HR for small agencies

HR for a 10 to 150 person agency - without an HR system.

Leave with balances, onboarding and offboarding checklists, policies, signed offer letters, monthly reviews and open roles - in the same place your team already works.

  • Free plan with every feature
  • Unlimited people
  • No card required
01 - The problem

Leave in a WhatsApp group, the balance in someone's head, the offer letter as a PDF in email, and reviews that happen when someone remembers.

  • Two designers are off the same week and you find out on Monday.
  • "How many days do I have left?" - nobody knows.
  • A new joiner's first week depends on who remembers what.
  • Salary letters sit in a shared folder anyone could open.
02 - How it works
  1. 01
    Anyone

    Hire

Post open roles; everyone on staff can refer someone. Referrals land in the hiring pool and the owner and HR are told.

  2. 02
    Your team

    Offer and sign

Send the offer letter or agreement; the person signs on the document, the owner or HR counter-signs, and the PDF carries a certificate.

  3. 03
    Your team

    Onboard

A joining checklist from your template - the items copied when it starts, so editing the template never rewrites someone's run.

  4. 04
    Anyone

    Leave that adds up

Request, the manager approves, it lands on the team calendar. Balances accrue by your policy, holidays and weekends do not count.

  5. 05
    Your team

    Monthly reviews

360° reviews with peer input, private manager notes, a rating with its change since last month, and a read receipt.

  6. 06
    Your team

    Offboard with a handover

Deactivating someone shows what they hold - tasks, projects, deals, clients, reports - and hands it to whoever you choose.

03 - Who does what

Everyone on staff

  • Request leave and see their balance
  • Their own HR documents and policies
  • Their reviews, and a read receipt
  • Refer someone for an open role
  • "Your month": tasks, hours, kudos

Managers and HR

  • Approve leave for their reports
  • Run checklists, templates and policies
  • Write reviews and invite peers
  • See who has no review this month
  • Counter-sign HR documents

Kept private

  • Personal HR documents: the person and admins - not their manager
  • Nobody approves their own leave
  • Peers see only their own contribution
  • The team is told who is away - never the kind of leave
  • Policies versioned: old consent never covers new wording
04 - Everything in it

Time off

Requests, balances and holidays.

  • Leave types with yearly allowances
  • Earned monthly or up front, pro-rata from joining
  • Carry-forward caps and adjustments
  • Company holidays, with a reminder two days ahead

Onboarding and offboarding

Nothing forgotten either way.

  • Joining and leaving checklists from templates
  • Offboarding hands over tasks, deals and clients
  • Former team members can be reactivated
  • Personal details erased on request, work kept

Documents and policies

Signed, versioned, private.

  • Offer letters and agreements signed on the document
  • Counter-signature by the owner or HR
  • Policies with acknowledgement tracking
  • Versioned so old consent never covers new wording

Performance

Monthly reviews that actually happen.

  • 360°: went well, needs improvement, career plan
  • Peer feedback, optionally anonymous
  • Private manager notes
  • Pending-review alert each month

Hiring

Your team is your best recruiter.

  • Open roles visible to everyone on staff
  • "Refer someone" into the hiring pool
  • Owner and HR notified
  • Candidates in one place

Team life

The small things that matter.

  • Who is around: status and last seen
  • Kudos for finished work
  • Reporting lines decide approvals
  • Availability blocks without approval

Questions
Do we need a separate HR tool?

For a 10 to 150 person agency, usually not. Leave and balances, onboarding, policies, signed HR documents, monthly reviews and hiring are built in. Payroll is not - keep your payroll provider.

Can one employee see another's salary letter?

No. Personal HR documents are visible to the person and the agency's admins only - deliberately not even their manager.

How are leave balances calculated?

From your leave policy: yearly allowances earned monthly or up front, pro-rata from the joining date, carry-forward caps, and company holidays and weekends that do not use up leave. A request beyond the balance is refused with the numbers.

Do you have an HR role?

Yes. The HR role runs checklists, templates, policies and performance reviews - not only the owner.

Does it do payroll?

No. WorkTogethr handles leave, documents, reviews and hiring; payroll stays with your payroll provider or accountant.

Free plan with every feature. Bring one real client and see it work.
